I have looked at many logs posted by people bragging about their MAF numbers only to quickly recognize they jacked the curve up. If I have the log less the volt readings it is easy to pick up by just looking at the acceleration data.

The MAF diameter is a different story. I know what Nem has so it's not a factor. My point was that you can make 4.06V MAF reading display 300 g/s or 150 g/s all else being equal so that displayed figure is not really relevant to me. You can do the same thing with the volt output by running a non-factory MAF diameter, but again what's the point of having impressive numbers if the car is obviously not living up to them?

.

As for the other thing....Dude...gotta work on the self esteem...who cares what anyone thinks :)

I was just being sarcastic. I realize how it all works, I troubleshoot low voltage controls all day. Mainly temperature sensors, photocells, etc etc. But yea we are all coming from the same place, having the raw data is best for troubleshooting in any situation.

Gotcha, I'm not very up to speed on tuning/reading PCM data. I deal with this shit all day long at work, and want nothing to do with it outside of work. When I work on my car I want to be removing nuts and bolts, not poking around on the computer again.
