It's the 2nd time for her - they use sound-waves to POUND the stone...Afterwards, she feels horse-kicked for a couple days. I'm going to suggest her letting me spend MORE on car audio - maybe with enough bass, I can help keep another stone from forming, eh?
Thanks all.

Thanks all.

(I'm a wanna be bass player - took 2 years of lessons. My first husband was a drummer in a metal band and they practiced at our house. The bass reverberations did major damage to our TV and constantly knocked stuff off the walls. I say go for it!
)
I think we should meet around 9:30 at Lewis Street Park http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=1...5,0.020127&om=1 in Monroe, leaving around 10:00.

See everyone tomorrow morning!
Well, I don't remember the cross streets, but I can give directions.
If you head out 522, and follow it all the way to the end, hang a left of US2 (EAST) and move over to the right lane. When you get to Lewis St, Turn Right (SOUTH). As you get to the edge of town, the park is on your left (just before the bridge). If you come through Duvall, north on 203, just hang a right into the parking lot a couple hundred feet after the bridge.
Here's a better link. local.live.com was down when I made that first post.

I wanted to thank everyone who was able to make it, and despite the weather, to gloat to those who couldn't
I had an awesome time driving and talking with everyone (sorry for the detour early on). I don't think we could've timed it any better to see the leaves turning colors. Last week they would have been mostly green, next week they'll probably be mostly brown. To those who remembered to use your cameras, I can't wait to see what you managed to capture.
Please start thinking about where you'd like to go next month. We should probably plan on mid-month again to avoid holiday conflicts. I'm thinking the weekend of the 12th since some folks will be traveling the next weekend. I've had one suggestion of the Kitsap Penninsula again.
For those who aren't aware, I intend to keep this up through the winter. December will be another mid-month drive (again, to avoid holiday schedule conflicts). January we'll push back to the end of the month and hopefully avoid the worst of the winter weather. Then we'll go from there.
Another note for those interested: this makes 5 months in a row we've done a group drive, and as far as I'm concerned, they've all been an absolute ball. It's so much fun to get together on a regular basis and enjoy each other's cars and company.

I had a blast today! It was great to finally meet a bunch of you and hang out, talk, and whatnot. I need to go back to that waffle house and try the steak and waffles. Because what could be better than steak and waffles?
I have a few teaser pictures. I'm sure all the really good ones will be posted later in the week.

A huge round of applause for Kristopher for planning and coordinating yet another fine NW RX8 outing! Bravo!
I had a great time despite the rain. I figured we'd tone it down a lot because of the conditions, but we took the twisties pretty darn fast! And the scenery was AWESOME! Perfect timing for the autumn colors
I agree Brian, it's going to be waffles next time (although the blintzes were good
Nice to meet everyone! I am so looking forward to all the pictures!!
(Sorry for being a little more quiet today than I normally am - I hadn't been feeling well all week and was still not today
but it was nice to get out and drive fast)

Here are a few of the better pictures from the drive. We took over 200 so although I will post these and a few more, if you want all of the pictures let me know and I will just send you a disk. Just PM me with your address.
