I agree with anibal. If he skips lunch, and heads straight home, he should be fine. That'd get him home between 2:30 and 3:00.

Straight down Hwy 2 is the shortest, and usually fastest route back to Kirkland from Leavenworth.

And my sway bars are still in transit. Next time I'm making sure I have my parts installed before I help any one else.

It can't be any worse then changing the clutch on a 86 Rx7, with only the cars factory jack and your doing it by yourself with no safety jack!!!I remember lay down under the transmission to catch it after I took the last bolt out, and it was not fun pushing it up and finding the place for the bolt!!!

Weather doesn't look too bad. Some possible minor slush on the road at Snoqualmie Pass, but that's all I can see in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Blewitt Pass looked ok. Leavenworth is ok - sun and clouds in the morning, showers in the afternoon.

First post back! I walked in the door at 7pm. Whew! It was raining so hard by the time I hit Monroe I could hardly see the rest of the way home. I've got a lot of pics to post - will do it later.

How was the rest of the drive? It was snowing at the top of Stevens Pass, but it was really wet. A little on the side of the road, but hardly any. Hope you all made it back ok! What a day...

^^NICE pics! OMG... you took one from your car as you were going DOWN that scary *** road !!!! I love the one from inside your car, and it was fun following behind you on the muddy roads seeing all the sliding and drifting tracks you left! NO WONDER your car was so muddy, lol!

More pics...

OK, so these do not have RX8's, RX7's, nor BMW M's in them

Leavenworth, Washington - the Alps in our backyard:

Anibal, Ilene and Ashley with scarecrow:

Closeup of Anibal and his family (Anibal, if you want a larger size, let me know):

Anibal and Kristopher waiting for "the shoppers"

The Baren Haus restaurant - Brautwurst sandwiches FTW! (or not...):

A Bavarian Monster Truck??!!

A Bavarian mini SnoCat

Carriage ride anyone?

You have to stop and see the goats before you leave town!

Latte for the road - Bavarian style!

Leaving Leavenworth at 4pm

That's it! By the time I got to Sultan, it was pouring rain all the way home. What time did you guys get home? How were the twisties on the way back?
