They don't know so I am driving it whith it squealing and whinning between 3 and 4 k rpm... Pretty much the whole time. It's hardly starting now the engine seems to purr I guess seems like it's a very fast and consistant studder. So I will be selling it if I don't find a blue 6 speed. I'm looking for a evo. If that happens I hope u guys will still let me

They said they ran it and it stopped but they had it idle when I told them 3k rpm. Service department was fantastic, my tech.. ****

 

well you can at least take it to a good dealer when you get home right? they need to get you into a new properly functioning motor.

 

Meh I'm done with it. Sinc febuary it had been nothing short of a problem so I think it's time to move on. I love the 8 but I need something reliable going into college. Evo is more insurance but less money dumped into fixing. I will see I Mazda will fix it properly for free but I dunno man egos are looking nice and better fir my daughter in the winter. We shall see but that's what I'm looking at

If you buy an Evo you'll have to Man Up and learn how to drive stick Unless you shell out big bucks for a X MR and get the dual clutch + paddles.

Evo's are cool Easy to make power with as well. The only draw back is the X MR can not handle a lot of power and replacing the transmission is expensive!

If you get the Evo then just get a tune for a couple hundred bucks and enjoy the car! My friend has an EVO X that is lightly modded and it kicks ***. Just a tune, exhaust and some piping done and he is around 350awhp. He also has a twin turbo 350z putting down 600whp/550tq.

 

Yeah I was going for the whole exhaust system and a tune for now and then a slight bit of cosmetics

 

The new STi sedan is not bad as well. And if you want to save money then buy a 2009+ WRX. They upgraded the turbos and after tune make good awhp as well. Oh wait this is a rotary forum! LOL...
