Plateless as in no Front, I have the rear plate, and no frame.....Still looking for a worthy enough rear plate frame :-)
Also, I've been looking into those RPF1's...I dunno.....Seems like someone needs to sell me on those..

RPF1's are very cheap for how light they are... not sure what you're comparing them to
17x9's are around $200/wheel. The Volks I want are $2400 for all 4 shipped. To each their own... but 19's are a bit silly

I won't put a mod on my car unless it makes it go faster (which is why I still don't have clear corners ). I want Volk CE28N's... obscenely light, and they happen to look good At the 17x9 I'd get them in, they're barely over 14lbs/wheel. My RPF1's are 15.9lbs though and are $400 less a wheel. It's a hard argument to win for the Volks

Looking forward to this evening's events! I am so over booked, I have to go to a art show thingy after hanging with you fine folks, but I look forward to stuffing my face with some juicy Dicks- I better work out extra hard so I deserve it!
I have to admit to you all--- I am a total n00b in this world, just got my used Rx-8 less than a month ago, it's a 2004 (traded it in for my 2004 passat that I have had for all these years but was getting wonky and unreliable at 80+K miles). it's low mileage, which I know isn't the BEST thing for these babies.
And I suspect it was neglected for many years- there's signs it might have been in storage or under a car cover outdoors for a long time - it's cleaned up well, but... I have some work to do. I have no idea what trim level it is or anything, so I am looking forward to all you knowledgeable people to fill me in!
Also I'd like to discuss driving tips to be sure I'm doing it right. Right now I only know hwo to DRIVE IT FAST (but I never get to!). I think I am doing good keeping quarts of spare oil in the truck and checking that regularly with fuel ups!
but I do love my car, it's so much frickin fun. And it's TOTALLY RAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

0-0! Impressive Uruguay...
And it may be cloudy, but it's dry, at least East Side. Hopefully that holds! I'm seriously thinking about jetting home early and taking a nap though... My will to work is pretty much negligible.

Yeah, we just had the game blown up on one of our walls at work. No one really worked for a little while. I feel you on leaving early. But I would do it just to wash the car finally. And hope that my LED kit is at home :-))))))))
