It will be as of Saturday. Erick and I are going to pick it up and move it to his shop. Hasn't been driving in a long time. So gonna need some work.

 

Outside of this forum, what is the best way to find out about meets in the PNW? It's hit or miss, hearing or finding out about these things on here.

 

Checkout the mazda nw forum because they are very active and do lots of meets. There are a couple of cars and coffee meets as well. One by airport and the other at bridgeport mall. They both meet every Saturday morning.

Also there is RPNW. They do drives during the summer and have a few meets. I think they have a couple of drives coming up as well.

Nice find on the truck. Hope you do not run into a lot of rust issues. What are your plans?

 

Hey man How's your summer going?

 

For the moment till I know exactly where I stand with the truck. I'm going to replace the ignition, drain/replace all fluids, and try and check the compression. If we're lucky enough to get it running. Than I'll probably just clean it up and rock it old school for a while. If not than I'm going to build it or look into a swap with a T2 or REW engine/trans. Erick and I are going to get it tomorrow. We should have a good idea of things by then.

It's been a PNW truck its whole life that I know of. So with that I hope rust isn't too big of a problem either.
