^ Thanks Maybe it's the size of it that makes it feel so heavy.

I fought for like an hour trying to get the dash out of the FD...took me awhile before I found a bolt hiding under the defrost vents; all in the dark...blah.

Systems have never been my thing but that looks great. Side note, wish my trunk looked that clean.

Very nice subwoofer setup. Did you do the work or did someone else do that?

I got the GT-R tuned today, 560awhp 550awtq on pump gas. Should be a solid mid 10 second car now on street tires. I need to get a vbox to see what kind of numbers it does.

I am not a huge stereo guy either, I just like a little bump, if I had a stock sub I would have been fine, I had the sub and MDF laying about and was board. the trunk was ugly with the battery and the other obnoxious sub box that came from my old car that is now going in my wifes car, was taking up to much space.

Weight to power to cover distance of 1320ft is 11.00 @ 125ish in perfect conditions. Still fast for such a heavy car on street tires!

The GT-R defies reason. On the GT-R forum everyone and their dog has a 550-600 awhp GT-R with a 10.5-10.7 second timeslip. The launch control makes it easy to cut excellent 60 ft times and the dual clutch transmission shifts fast and doesn't lose boost between *****. On top of that, the transmission is really high geared compared to other high power manual transmission cars allowing it to accelerate faster. There are a lot of factors that go into drag racing besides power and weight. Of course this doesn't mean anything until I go get a timeslip, just saying it is really commonplace to see bolt on GT-Rs getting consistent mid 10 timeslips and there are a few reasons it runs a lot faster than its power and weight suggest.

Pounding extremely low 60ft times will skew the equation.

ive still been driving it. back end smashed in, rattles on the exhaust, which has a nice size leak now. im picking up an new exhaust today, already have a bumper waiting to be painted, and hopefully we can pull some of the body out this weekend if weather is kind. at very least id like to put on the non-matching bumper and exhaust this weekend.
