So I have a 2005 rx8 4 speed automatic transmission. What can I do to it to add more power?

Lol. I don't know much about these rotary engines. My mechanic said the check engine light is gonna come on if I put in the agency power cat delete mid pipe

You remove the CAT and the CEL will come on. You either need something like the Cobb AP to disable the error code for not having a CAT or ignore it. If you choose to ignore it then you will never know when another CEL is triggered. If you have emissions testing where you live then you will fail an emission test due to the CEL.

I was serious and being a smartass when I said you can buy a midpipe at rx8club.com. There are several vendors here that sell midpipes. I have BHR's and so do many others.

Where do you live? Corksport in Vancouver, WA, has a midpipe. It sounds great.

So you can either help support the rx8club.com buying from a vendor. Or buy from a local company.

 

FD updates; no pictures all boring.

Waiting on a lot of stuff to show up. Mainly my powerflex bushings and atomic rex pillow *****. Lots of cleaning incoming. I been getting all my wiring diagrams ready for opening the 5.3l harness and FD front harness and deleting everything I will not use anymore. Thats a big project.

Cobra 8.8 came today


Still waiting on axles and bushing/pillow ***** (waiting for atomic rex pillow ***** from the UK, so they all ship together). Opt to not use an Fbody T56, instead going a Tremec Magnum TR6060. Still need to order a SFI bell housing.

Soon as a current project finishes, cars rolls in the garage and the whole front end is getting chopped off. I'm getting ancypantys to do major work.

 

You are doing the samberg 8.8 cobra IRS cradle conversion huh? Id be curious to see this when it is done, I've been considering this for a 20B FD project.
