Staying out of boost and keeping it under 65. World was going by to slow at 55 to even bother trying for better results

 

I generally cruise freeway 60-65, though I have no cruise control so lots of modulation. Highway = zombie cruising for me, always so tired after work. Though I do usually make a few runs through our lil 'touge' course on the way out of work. I am really trying to avoid driving so much anyways...

Which brings me to; I need a fixie. Anyone a bike nut? I want to pick up a cheap road bike or a fixie. Figure I should start riding to work in a month or 2 when the snow stops. Ive slowed down to using my erg only 1-2x a week.

So during my adventures of swapping cats, midpipes and straight pipes I am back to stock. I had an exhaust leak at header to cat. Was a missing gasket ring, now fixed. Had squeaky exhaust as well, fixed with a rear exhaust doughnut from a grand national (just the random turbo stuff laying around). Now I start the car and am flooded with exhaust. Coming straight from the vents and chokes me out if I sit at a stop light. In going to make time tomorrow to figure this out. Going to use the Oxy-Setaline torch to search for the leak around the exhaust manifold. I have a hunch there is a crack. If that's the case will be a quick and easy fix. Grind and tig weld it shut. The cat too could also be trashed from hitting speed bumps and what not. Midpipes for sale anyone?

Maybe I should push my car off a cliff...I don't care for it anymore. Never happy with it . Buy my car Nate.

if your getting exhast in your vents then the leak has to be in the engine bay

need an exhaust gasket

Forward part of exhaust flange had a crack. Could have happen during one of my bottoming out on something very hard moments. Die grinder and mig weld, fixed.

 

 

Well if you look at last years photos from Vegas, right? :-) No, he's got the warehouse, and all we need is a stripper or 6.

RAH NATE IS BACK.. i am for sure rejoining. as long as paperwork works out which there is no reason why it wont. so yeah. im going donwtown to do my tests and phyicals the 21st and 22nd. then send off paperwork and wait for boot camp again.. nate has a suprise car for you talking my parents into buying it for me.. lol doubtful but if they do since they have too much money... my 8g downpayment will go into parts for it.. sooo excited
