I don't think all tread wear grades can be taking too seriously. A lot of it comes down to marketing. This is just a grade given by each manufacturer, not the DOT.

I believe the OEM RE040's were 140, and my KDW2's were 300. My RE040's were shot by 16K. The tire tech though I was crazy going to the KDW2's because they felt much softer and stickier, and he thought I would get much less life out of them. I told him the wear ratings and he didn't seem surprised, but still thought I'd wear them out faster. Really there wasn't that much difference in the wear. The KDW2's were probably worn to the same level by 18K, then I drove them 4K more 'till they were bald (because they didn't feel as crappy as the Potenzas and the weather was still okay).

My KDW2s lasted 25k. I drive approx. 7.5k per so they last way too long for me

Wheels look good! Specs? If the weather is good on 1/29 then you should mount them for the meet.

im going to custom order some 18x9 with a +25 offset, keep the stock 225/40/18 tires, slam it on H&R coilovers, roll the fenders. so it should be pretty sweet with the stretched tires and i am hoping for a pretty flush fitment, if it isnt flush enough then i will get some wheel spacers
