NEED HELP abt BAD TUNNING SHOP

Hi everybody, I really need some opinion here. It's about my car. First of all, I am NOT BORN in US so I am pretty lost and dunno what to do.(also plz forgive my bad english =.=">)

My RX-8 moded with a aftermarket crutch and flywheel in a tunner shop about 4 months ago. After the installation, there was some "WEIRD" sound while he shift, so he took the car back to that shop for checks (TWICE), and they said there was no probably abt the mods @ all.

Finally, last week, I was riding with my 8, and I got STUCKED on I-5N, bcoz of the car can't shift // put in any gears @ all.

So I got the car towed and bought it to the dealer for check. And today, the dealer told me bcoz of some bad installation of the curtch. He has to replace some parts in the transmission( 990$ parts ) also $1400 labour.

So I wanna know if the shop need to take any response about that?
If not my fd just gonna do it in the dealer...
If so, what I can do about it ? (He ordered the parts he needs the replace today), so I hope I can get some opinion about what to do within these 2 days so he can figure what he gonna do.

PS: that tunner shop is located in Fedal Way.(should I speak the name of it ?)

Is it Pit Stop in Auburn or that one car store near Tacoma Mall? Either way I think your gonna have to pay for it at the dealership. I doubt the shop is going to take blame for the mishap, espically if you brought your vehicle in their twice for them to look at. Sorry about your mishap...

If the Mazda technicians will agree that the problems were caused by the installation performed by the tuner shop, and if you didn't sign anything alleviating the shop of any responsibility, you may want to consult an attorney.
