I hate you all!!! I left my 8 back in Michigan for safe keeping in a climate controlled storage center with my g/f dad's 68 chevy pick-up he fully restored.

I don't know if I will be bringing it back this way after my 12 months in Iraq. I was supposed to be gone, but got pushed back a little bit. If I do bring it back out here, it will look a little different.

Here is a list of what will be bought over the next year and be waiting for me to get installed.


Rear Sway - was on back order when purchased with other suspension parts

Pettit S/C - Going with them due to easier maintenance and tech questions (FL is a short drive from my house)

MS front fascia

Autoexe SE-03 vented hood - Jizz in my pants

RB gauge pod (ashtray) with Defi gauges - Needs installation

And if I can get a good deal, new clutch anf flywheel.


I will also be buying a Jeep when I get state side. I only have 90 days after we return from Iraq and I will be living in my paid off house in MI once again. I need to say thanks to all of you that have helped out, gone on the drives and made times enjoyable. I still hate you all for going to Dick's without me!

Sounds good! I hear our base has satellite internet, so I don't know if it will be able to handle LIVE, but I will try. Maybe I can work a drug deal with the commo guys to get hard wires put in.

Doing anything this week will be a little hairy for me. I'll be bringing stuff to work every day and then bringing it to my new place in Kirkland. With any luck, I'll be down to just my bed in the old place by Saturday so I can borrow a co-worker's truck to move it and be done.

I'd drive down to pick you up anyway though, but certain other south of the city living members of the boards might have an easier time *cough*.

When do you deploy? I'm coming back next month.. Was hoping to hang out with another Ft Lewis 8.. There's a bunch on post but it seems that all the guys I talked to weren't really that into their cars like we are.. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I'm a commo guy(25S satellite communications) and the internet here is absolutely awful. Take care and be safe.
