Griots Garage (pronounced Gree-oh's) is an 18 year old specialty car product company. They make every cool gadget you'd ever want, every tool wish you had, and everything you'd ever thought you needed to keep your car looking its best. They're based locally in Fife which is the North Tacoma Area.

On June 22nd everyone is invited to come and join me at Griots for a 5 step Details Class. Griots will be providing all of us with professional hands on training in all aspects of detailing. Demonstration vehicles will be selected on the day of the event by Griots Staff. This isn't a formal classroom type of event. You are more than welcome to jump from station to station to learn whatever you want as you please.

Attention Peoples This Event Is Next Weekend

 

I'm really looking forward to this, despite the fact it'll be my birthday and I'll be hungover and shot up from paintball the day before.

 

Demos cars will be selected for this event. Mostly by staff, and a few by me. Please make sure your ride is clean. Don't bother to wax and go crazy because you may see some products you like to try on your car. Just give her a good wash and forget about the tire dressings and spray on waxes.

I say clean the ride because I want the flaws to show. You got scratches or swirl marks..... Let's try and fix em.

Event starts at 12, but you can start showing up around 1130 to get some time to playtime with products before class starts.

dangit.. i spent all day claybarring and waxing and completely forgot about this..

 

Patrick and I made it out, and I had a great time! I learned a lot about detailing, polishing and waxing, and I'm now a lifetime fan of Griot's.

I have years of training in hating marketing of any kind, and I can smell insincere profit-motivated kindness any time from a mile away. These are genuinely good people who care about car enthusiasts. I highly recommend doing business with them, and if you have any car care questions just call them! I'll bet they invite you down to work on your car and help you with your questions hands on, for free.
