high flow=more performance for your turbo.

Um, turbo? Do you have after market turbo on your 8?
Either way, more free flow=more performance.
However, with renesis, I've been noticing that "Buzzsaw" exhaust sound, especially from more free flowing exhausts...it's just the nature of the engine, I assume. I had sp2's and it was surprisingly deep, so you'll really like the sound.

You can also always go test pipe... One of the easiest way to gain power for the 8
Good luck

I recently installed a test pipe from the rx8store.net, I have the greddy kit, no cat, no resonator and no mufflers. But it is not a loud as you might think, but still too loud for the streets.

Not tru, in some cases you can lose power. It has to be a perfect balance, of size of intake, mod, supercharger or turbo, exhust, etc, etc, etc....
Good luck!!!

You don't need to worry about back pressure on a rotary. With a rotary more free flowing the better, period. Problem is it just gets really really loud.

It's not about back-pressure. It's about harmonic tuning, and yes, rotaries do respond to harmonic tuning. Proper tuning will actually allow the exhaust to flow MORE than dumping straight off the manifold. However, the real point from that article is that a lot of math is required to figure out the best solution for your individual application.
