Good short roadtrips around the Seattle area?
I just got my brand new 8, and am looking for some good spots to go try it out for some scenic 3-hour road-trip type driving
. I'm new to the area, and have no idea what's around -- any good advice?

Umm, I've been a here a year and I don't know right off hand. I know that Chuckanut Drive Is a blast on the Bike, It starts about halfway to Bellingham.
Just running up to Stevens Pass is nice if you time it right.
I love the drive up to Mt. Baker. Take Highway 9 from about Arlington on up is a great drive.
there are also some sneaky lil backroads that I won't mention here in public that are a lot of fun. Take you from Mill Creek back down to Bellevue/Woodenville Area...

Head south, through Tacoma and make your way to Mt. Rainier. Well worth the drive. It might take you a bit longer than 3 hours though. I've never made the trip in my 8, but even in my jacked up '63 Ford Fairlane, it was a lot of fun. I can only imagine how it would be in my 8. Pick a nice day and go for it!
There are a lot of very nice roads all over the place. I'd be happy to meet up with you make some runs. If you want to stay in the Seattle area, we're limited to 5-20 mile stretches all strung together for a longer run.
