Easter was not a good day for my car...!
I heard things happen in 3's, so maybe my streak is over.... Easter Sunday was not a good day for my 8...
1. My fault - I parked sort of close to a pole and meant to say something to my passenger about being careful when opening the door... then I got distracted and guess what happened... I can see a very slight crease where the pole met my door.
2. An hour later, I drove my brother-in-law to trade a propane tank... the tank slipped out of his hand coming out of my trunk and skidded off the rear bumper. Lots of white paint (got that off), but definitely a scratch!
3. My fault again - I'm dropping off my daughter after the Easter event and forgot that her driveway has a killer gutter at the end.... so I backed up and scraped the chin of the 8 so bad I got out and looked. The rotor accent was loose, good thing I checked!
Oh well... it had to happen sooner or later...
Hope you all had a good weekend though!

On reading the thread title, I was preparing for the worst. All in all, it seems that they are all fairly minor. Whew!
Hopefully, you have it all out of your system now.

I wasnt thinking one morning, and backed up into the garage door...left two dents identical to eachother on either side of the license plate...looked horrible..there was also a scratch above it and on the spoiler...
not to long after that i spun out into a pile of dirt that was filled with rocks on a cunstruction road and tore up the passenger side of the front bumper...I took it in to the shop (my neighbor owns it) got a rental magnum at no charge, that was on a friday afternoon, I was told it would be ready by tuesday..they called sunday around noon, went and got her...looked good as new :]

WEll I almost got plowed on I-5 Saturday. I say almost cause the lady behind me in her Tahoe was the one really not paying attention and after she came to a dramatic stop just a fwe feet behind me, SHE got tagged by whomever couldn't see around her and had to deal with a Tahoe suddenly slamming it's brakes.
Tahoe came to rest about 4" off the rear bumper, all I could see was GRILL in the rearview.
I had pulled forward twice allready and if I hadn't been watching min my rearview she would have collected me anyway. Was a little bit of Drama.

I got it doine at a pplace called franks window tinting also in lynnwood on highway 99
I wasnt too sure about the place at first, I called ahead and they gave me a good quote and they were also the only place in the are that had previously tinted an rx8. When i got there it was a very small rundown looking place with some young kids working there..But they did a great job, no bubbles or anything. im very happy with the way it turned out.
Im not sure the %, but i know thats its not quite legal. they had a selection of tints on display to pick from, mine was the second to darkest one.
