I'm already going to be spending most of this weekend doing fabrication/installs on my car. If I'm not at a friends house doing it you'd be more than welcome to drop by and I'll give you a hand.
I'll probably be in the garage, text me if you want some help this weekend.

I just did 35k service today..I also need to change my brake pad..University Mazda quote me for $306+tax..thats too much for me
I still don't know which brake pad should I buy..
I also called Auto Dynamix in Bellevue, they quote me for $100 for the labor (brake pad changed + rotor service) but I'm not sure whether I need the rotor serviced.
Any recommendation guys?

I just did mine today. It cost me about $100 for the pads and rotors to be turned. Mazda had this amazing idea of putting screws in the rotors to hold them in place but they are in so tight that they strip out. Buy yourself a set of pads, and an impact driver to remove the 2 screws from each rotor. Find a buddy and take care of it. Depending on where in Seattle you are at, I could do them for 50-75 buck for ya! You get the parts.
What pads you have?

I went to Shucks and got their premium pad set for $69 after tax. Rotors are 12 each to be turned. I didn't see the need for anything better than OEM pads since the 8 is going to sit for a year + while im gone, and that when I get back im changing them to something better and that look better.
