No to the tux, but I was out shopping for a suit yesterday. I need a new one for other stuff anyway, so I've been toying with getting it early.

Ryan asked if we were serious about dressing up. Yes, I'm serious about it, just quite to the extremes my demented brain originally envisioned..

So far we have eleven confirmed participants and four maybes. You can see the list on the drive page http://www.the-winding-road.com/grou...nw20061210.php. I've also made a couple minor updates so you can see the other top-level sections of the site. It definitely took too long to code that list by hand, so I'll be making a concerted effort to get the "I'm in" button done this week so it's ready for the January drive.

OK, I might think about compromising somehow. The hair thing is the worst PITA, so I'll see...

It's 2-1/2 hours for me from my likely passenger's house (he says he wants to go but the fact that we have ot leave early in the morning seems to irritate him, LOL), not including that I will have to get gas somewhere along the way up there. I think I'll probably dress up some, but I don't know how much yet. I don't know about him.

I second that, and it goes out to all the new faces (and some we just haven't seen in a while). I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

LOL! I'm loving the hat. I'll have to see if I can make that my avatar temporarily when I get home. It's not cooperating here on my work computer.

Hey, do it Sunday night! We'll be done around 2 or so. You'd be home by 3 or 4... lots of time to do inventory!

Congrats on the store! I spent some time working in the Monroe store and I feel your pain on the inventory front. No fun.

Here's hoping you find a way to make it.

I think the meeting time was on his website. I've wrote down - meet at Pioneer Park in Puyallup at 10, leaving between 10:30 and 11. We have at least a couple of cars coming from about 2-3 hours away, so it might be closer to 11?

Are you going to meet us at the begining or end, or go for the whole drive? Did you get your car back yet?

I DID get the car back! Read my initial thoughts here!

I'm going to meet at the park for sure, at 10am. I'm thinking I'll bring donuts and maybe a box of coffee if more than 'me' will consume it. I'm probably going to bow out of the Meeting in Issaquah for a couple reasons; #1 I've got money on the seahawks game, #2 I think I'll get better pics at a 'park' rather than a 'parking lot'...know what I mean?

:D

Woohoo, good news! I hope it loosens up like you want it to.

Makes sense about pics in the park, good thinking. The rest of us will take pics at the drive-in.

I'd go for donuts, but I'm not much of a coffee person. Others???

Well, I'm definitely dressing up now. I went to the mall today to take back my boyfriend's Christmas present and got a little distracted. I have now acquired a new dress and sparkly shoes!

Isn't it Riverside Park????

Whoops, you're right - it's Riverside. When I went to pull up the map for Puyallup I was seeing Pioneer Park, which seems like it's really close to Riverside, so I assumed that was the park.

So are you going on the whole drive, or just be there in the morning?

Riverside is more "Sumner" in my opinion, than Puyallup.
