Back on topic, so what day are we for sure going to do this? I need to know so I can try to switch someone at work. Kris you think you can post up some directions to the meeting place in Puyallup.

Well, the votes are in, 2 for the 10h and 1 for the 17th, and a whole bunch of folks who just want to drive :D
So, I guess that means the 10th.
Meeting Place: Riverside Park, East of Sumner, off 410.
I'm still figuring out some final details on the route. I want to kee Hwy driving to a minimum, so it's takinga bit of research.

Kristopher - What time were you thinking you'd end up at XXX Drive-In? For lunch in the middle of the drive or at the end? I could maybe do part of the drive, or meet you guys in Issaquah depending on what time it is. I just need to be home around 3 that day.

I've been putting in a lot of time the last few days getting the-winding-road cleaned up. I've still got a long way to go before it matches my vision, and I've a bunch of new roads to go re-drive and write-up.
All the pertinent information for this drive is on the page linked below.

Power!!
Excellent write up
Love the web page! Well done. I'll see if I can find some traditional driving clothes. Maybe some knickers, gloves, a white scarf, hat and goggles. Let the driving begin!!

OMG... I saw the website Kristopher. You ARE serious about dressing up!
I was just planning on going with you guys, eat at XXX and then go home and change for my party at the Aquarium that night. Golly.... is it possible to drive fast in a dress and heels.... we'll see..

Make sure you bring driving shoes of some sort just in case. I've been inviting others to join us for this one as I find them to invite. I want to encourage everyone to invite any sports-car people they know to come along. I think this could be fun end of year bash.

RX8 and a Truk....
Looks like my engine won't be installed until next week. Perhaps I'd just meet you at the place in Issaquah? Will be doing RB's 'break-in' procedures, so no fun-revving for a bit.

What are those break-in procedures? Mine consisted of several Red-Line runs on the way home from the dealer ship, demonstration rides to friends and family over the 4 day Thanksgiving weekend, and generally driving the snot out Ruby every chance I've gotten for the last 3 years and 4 days.
Yeah, meet us in Issaquah. Or, meet us at Riverside Park, then take the direct route to Issaquah and join us again for lunch. Of course, that might provide a bit too much temptation.

RX8 and a Truk....
0-1000 miles, no full-throttle, and no 'over 4000rpms'.
1001-2000 miles - no full throttle, progressively, yet softly, venture up to higher rpms.
2001+ miles - drive it like you stole it.

WooHoo Ryan!!! Will Abbey be able to make it this time? I was joking when I originally said I might dress up, but then Kristopher made the dare. Given the timing of the drive and the party I'm going to later on, I would have to get ready twice in one day which is a pita - so I'm not going to. It would be too uncomfortable for me and I'd rather just focus on driving

Well, I can actually make this one!!!!! So, unless I wasn't really paying attention earlier in this thread (I'm at work) I need to know times, places, addresses, et cetera, and I might possibly kidnap a passenger to go with me. That would be the first time I've had a real passenger in my car in eight months.
