Cobb Accessport Issues

Hey guys just bought a AP and i cant get it to work in my car only computer. Anyone got a extra obd2 connecter or let me use theirs to see if that is my problem??? Thanks

What is the problem? I think the dongle is married to the AP, but don"t quote me on that.

i have one but am going out of town. lots of folks have them though. cobb is also really fast at repairs if you want them to look at it too.

are the years correct, seems like an 04 cobb won't work with a 06 rx-8 and visversa

Not true.
All AccessPORTs for the RX-8 are identical.
If it is married to the previous owner's car, it'll kick you out.

Is the display black when you plug it in or is it something else?

Its black as in doesn't turn on, but when i plug into my computer it comes on and when i plug in obd2 my computer recognizes it but of course doesn't do anything.
