Cascade Loop Drive
Cascade Loop Drive
What up everyone? A couple of friends and i were planning on going for a drive this weekend in the cascades. Below is a link to the Classic Cascade Loop that we were thinking of doing or something similar.

As of now we are thinking Saturday morning into the afternoon maybe with a picnic along the way. Once we get a better idea of who is interested i will set a time and place to meet up.
I figured i would see if anyone was interested, so far it going to be me, my buddy in his stock s2k, a co worker in his RSX-S, and another friend is taking his CBR 600 out and will probably stay a bit a head of us. Its suppose to be nice out so hope to see everyone.

ok plans have been finalized....
So we're going to hit the twisties and do just a teeny portion of the north part of the Cascade Loop.
We'll head up to beautiful Diablo Lake, step out for a photo and a bite to eat, and then come back down.
Here's the plan:
- Meet in the north parking lot of the Northgate Mall (in front of the Bank of America) around 9 am. We will start the day with 25 minutes of yoga and leave no later than 9:30.
- Take I-5 N
- East on Highway 20
- Head all the way up to Diablo Lake and then head back down Highway 20
- Stop for quick bite to eat
- South on Highway 530 back to I-5
- Should get back in Northgate around 3:30
Here's a map of the route: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,2.113495&z=10
It's about 220 miles total and somewhere just under 5 hours if we go slow (but we won't will we?). Let me know if you have any questions.
See you Saturday and drive safe!
