Calling all Alaskan's
Ok guys and gals i did a search in the forums for anyone who has started a thread for all ppl in alaska and i have seen a couple that failed. i want to get an idea of all the RX-8 owners in alaska and their locations because the summer time up here is great for roadtrips and meeting each other. for now i just was wondering if we can get a head count and location of all Alaskan RX-8 owners. I know u are out there i have seen 10+ in anchorage alone. lets get a headcount and maybe start setting up some trips the drives up here are awesome and a pack of 8's rolling down the road could turn more heads than a moose walking along the road. (dang tourist and their rubber necks.)

Ex-Alaskan, but still with an AK in my heart!
Get hold of Bruce Lee at Arctic Import Repair (over on International Blvd). If there are any rotaries in the Anchorage area, he would probably know about them, and probably have personal contact with them.
And, if you need work done on you ride, then Bruce and his crew are the only ones to trust.
If you end up chatting with Bruce, Tell him Mike G from Florida says hello. And find out if he still has the R100?
I REALLY miss the Fur Rondevous Grand Prix. What a kick. I ran in a Fiat X1/9 many, many moons ago. Bruce and his guys were a great help.

Hi AKBen! Greetings from an Alaskan born and raised who is now in Florida.
Lived most my life in Anchorage.
I lived in the wonderful twin cities (Thats Kenai-Soldotna for all you out there keeping score) for a number of years. Worked at Kenai Supply.
Wonderful place. Nice drive over to Seward from there.
Hope you find some more rotorheads to hang with.

Hmmm, I don't think too many people from AK do much modding on their RX8. Spend all their money lifting their pickups 6 feet so they can maneuver the 3 inches of snow in the streets. Still have your 8?
