I am basing my figures off of another post (unfortunately I do not recall the thread) here on RX8club, that the AEM Cold Air Intake gives about a 2MPG increase in gas mileage. As for the other 1-2MPG, I’m using my previous experience to form an estimate, based off the MPG increase that I got with my ZX2 and a Cat-Back Exhaust.

The parts are on track to be here this weekend - so the 19th is still a 'go' as far as I'm concerned. All are welcome.

PM next week, say, tuesday, if you plan on attending - for directions.

All is looking well for me attending. I don't see anything preventing me from making the trip, I might break down and spend the $350 or so to get an AEM CAI locally here in Lakewood, and install it on the 19th, though more then likely I will not be able to.. car payment and other bills ect..

I won't be able to make it on the 19th -- I'm flying out to visit my family.

I'll have to hear the RB, the one thing I'm missing from my ZX2 is the sound of the intake and the exhaust. The 8's just too quiet right now, lol.

still waiting on the RB exhaust...I am surprised to find out it takes them two weeks to pull one from their warehouse and ship it.

:-

19th is a no-go, unless I get the piece in a couple days. I'm going to try to install the intake today.

exhaust won't be here until Monday... I'm thinking December 4th as a re-do? Problem is, I doubt I'd wait that long w/ a shiney exhaust sitting in my garage. I'll probably plan to install the exhaust after work monday, or, friday - as I'm off work.

So why don't we just do a NW 8 meet up? Those of us who are new can introduce themselves and such.

We have been trying to get an 8 owners group started for quite awhile, it just seems that everyone works to hard up here.

Now where did I leave my coffee mug - ahh there it is.

Gotta admit I'm not really a football fan but I'll be happy to come up and hang out.

I know the feeling about working too hard, but to quote BJ Shea, 'look at the clock, it's F-it Friday..'
