This is all pretty cool, but not cool enough to provide me with the motivation to search through this thread to answer my question, which is...

Nice. You have my respect doing this on a real man's budget and in your own garage. I was looking through the posts watching the progress and noticed someone suggested this motor was going to be a low HP swap. I figured that it would only be Low if it wasn't blown. I thought maybe I missed something like, maybe, you couldn't fit the turbo somewhere. That is why I asked. Glad to hear this mother is headed towards beast-dom!

one of these days when it is finally running (lol) im going to start a new thread on the base of what i have built with alot of pics and vids to show what a pain in the *** this has been. but it is so going to worth it to have a truly one of a kind car.

damn this is going to be a long one.
Ok i will just amke a list with comments to keep it simple.
car gutted of everything rotary and the pcm and the eng. harness was removed.(easy)
custom modded subframe to allow a front sump oil pan and relocating the
steering rack.(not easy at all)
cut a big botch from the wiper cowl and a small section of the firewall to move the engine as far back behind the front axle as possible to maintain weight distribution . (not to bad)
steering shaft extended 5.5" (this was not hard but has to be done right)
battery tray crossmember removed
all factory exhaust has been removed and a custom built (by me) system from the turbo back has been installed ( that was fun)
a radiator from summit racing is doing the cooling duties along with a proform composite fan that flows 3300 cfm (easy)
a srt4 intercooler is cooling the intake charge going through custom charge pipes(not to hard)
a emanage blue linked with a eo1 boost controller all wired into a central 20 tuned ecu.
all gauges have been replaced with autometer ultralites including boost, oil pressure ,fuel press.
the e manage and the eo1 brain are in the glove box and the ecu is on the pass firewall
i made a 3 gauge pod for the center dash section and a custom holder for the eo1 screen where my sunglasses holder used to be.
lokar throttle pedal to replace the factory unit. hooked to a braided stainless cable.
cut a hole in the pass firewall to run wiring through
new rotora slotted rotors
custom throttle cable bracket
stock fuel lines ditched
optima red top relocated to the trunk.
custom 3 gauge pod in place of ash tray
eps brain removed from pcm and placed inside the enigine bay.
pulled the abs block because it was 4 " away from the turbo
the rear brake lines were pulled to make way for the down pipe
this is a list of things i have done so far, im sure i forgot a few lil things but that is the general idea of what been done so far and i will make my to finish and not done or bought yet list a lil later.

driveshaft..i need a front yoke from a 240 and a stock d/s from an 8
gotta find a starter
need a wideband
run fuel line
run a return fuel line and weld a a/n adapter to the filler neck
custom fit some radiator hoses
finish my sway bar
cut 2 coils out of my springs. we cut out about 300 lbs or so in the front end so it sits higher
make a down pipe
run power to the ecu and all the electric goodies
wire up all the sending units for the gauges
find a bov somewhere
change the oil pan
find a way to wire up the eps to work..(power steering)
finish my mid pipe
finish the trans mount
make a brace for the differential
run new brake lines for the rear
get a 4 way brake proportioning valve
modify the center console shifter gate to allow about a 1/4" of shifter throw
run a clutch line from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder
hook up the reverse switch for the tail lights
and thats about it i think

getting closer but im pinching pennies as it is right now, so its a little here and a little there till its done. i want to be driving it by mid November if i can pull it all together.
and just for kicks i kinda want to build a bastard rotary drift car. like a old odd ball something with a bad *** rotary in it. rotary is cool i must admit....just not in my daily driven car
