How do you use 2 RWD motors to drive all four wheels? I tell you this though you will have a hell of a tranny tunnel and cowl induction hood to fit it.

Yeah and then get a slower 8 from all the extra drivetrain losses. Now I'm thinking how they are gonna come up with a rotary transaxle... Should they mount it vertically or horizontally, maybe they could attach 4 renesis each on every wheel.

Have you ever noticed a difference in how an engine is mounted in a FWD vehicle vs a RWD vehicle? Maybe there is a way to do it with the body of the 8 but not likely with any of the existing drivetrain and I'm positive it won't happen with a rotary if it were possible!

The reason no one has thought about it is Mazda never made a front wheel drive car with the rotary engine so there isn’t a transmission that could be used in a set up like the Tiburon. Try Google for some sites that explain how FWD & RWD works and you might figure it out. It would be cheaper to just make another two engine Tiburon and put an RX-8 body shell over it like a funny car.
