Computer harness modification for engine swap?
Hello --
I'm considering dropping in an RX-8 motor and manual tranny into a 1960 Austin-Healy Bugeye Sprite. Of many things to consider is wiring the thing so it'll run. Does anyone know of a resource to turn to for this -- or if there's a company out there that can assist?
Thanks!

yeah- probably wont be able to. you'd need all the CAN modules for the dash and tranny etc etc. you would have to trade EVERYTHING over that is wired to the PCM , including drive by wire throttle, position sensors blah blah blah or it would get all neurotic on you. The wiring diagrams are available from MazdaManiacs website if you want to take a look.
you'd probably be better off running a motec and custom harness for fueling and ignition and a cabled throttle. hell you could probably get away with just a megasquirt.
