I have a 2004 rx8. My driver's side rear door was damaged and I need to replace it. I found one on ebay that is from an 2009 rx8. I know they made some changes on the 2009 - 2011 rx8's but will the door from an 09 still fit on an 04 model?

Yes it will, but the interior is different, just be aware.

Do you know if I can still use the inside panel from the 2004 door and put it on the 2009 door with no problems?

I see one on eBay that comes without the inside panel and was wondering if I could just rip out the old trimmings and use it on the new door.

Yes the panel should swap over no problem.
