where can I go to race in so cal

Is there any one that can tell my a place close to L.A. that I could take my car to test it out.

That will show you every SCCA-group in your region of the country. Groups may have Autocross ("Solo"), PDX (professional driver experience), road rally, rallycross, etc events. All of them will be a blast.

If you're looking for drag racing, you bought the wrong car.

If you're looking for drifting, use google.
