What in the world is this thing on my trunk lid?
So I've had my RX-8 (2009) for a bit, and the other day I somehow *just* noticed these two plastic things on my trunk lid under the spoiler. What in the world are they?

Thats where the lip spoiler clips down into the trunk, yours was removed, this is a picture of mine when it was removed.

Are you saying there's supposed to be a second "lip" spoiler there? I've only ever seen an RX-8 with the full spoiler or no spoiler.

Looks like original lip spoiler was removed and as you say full spoiler put on, as it looks a lot better, this is what I did also with my 8.

I guess that makes sense. I've never seen what the lip spoiler looks like, but it's probably not as nice as the full spoiler. Thanks!
