what model rx8 is this ?

why do this rx8 have a fan on the engine cover and does not have renesis?
what model is it?

That is an oem cover with a fan added in to it. Pretty creative i must say though should of routed the wire on the firewall to make it a bit cleaner.

Thats a Series 1 RX8...just with modified engine cover...Hehe maybe should do the same to my Series 2

Where does that fan get air? It must be sandwhiched between the engine cover and the underhood padding...

Kind of a cool idea, but even if it's vented to the outside I wonder how much it really helps anything. Might be good for heavy traffic / stop and go driving.
