weird ssv

Ok so 2004 rx8 getting ssv code cant remember if it was for open or closed so. Either way it doesnt matter. Ive checked both vales on intake and they both move freely. I got this code right after an oil change. Soob as it rolled put of shop. It was a friend of mine that works there he said while he was changing my oil he saw an ellectrical vonnector unhooked so he plugged it back in. The plastic locking was broke so it was loose i have been workinh all day so i have beeb unable to jack up vehicle myself and take a look any one know what this is? I looked at other ssv threads and decide to check the valves. Had wife rev engine while looking at valves to watch if they opened 1000 rpm at a time neither opened until 7000 rpm. Now logical deduction tells me this. It is called a secondary shutter valve so seems to me they should operate independently. Correct? Main for lower rpm and second for when you reach a higher rpm or is the other valve an exhaust valve the one right next to the ssv on the right is the one im refering to?

Good god man, that was tough to read. If you have a SSV code then you need to test the vacuum actuator for the SSV. As for the connector, well without knowing what connector you are talking about, it's hard to say what connector it is.
