Weird grinding noise, please help

Hello guys, hope you can give me some advise.

It always happen only on the first gear, (around 2000-3000rpm) rarely on the second gear. I can hear pretty loud grinding noise when I put my feet off the gas pedal. It seems like the car goes slower and slower because of that grinding. When I press down the clutch pedal, all is ok.

Anyone else experienced this? Could it be any transmission problem with the synchrons? (almost everytime is problem to shift on the 3rd gear in higher rpm).

RX8 2004, 81 000km

Thanks for any info guys!

if at a stop and u let the clutch out in neutral and you hear chatter; it could be a bad throw out bearing seating and unseating it self from the bearings under clutch movement and spin, if its not popping out of gear and you can go thru all the gears still less likely to be something internal, could be slave cylinder failing doing funny things

Just installed the RB midpipe and catback. Noise still exists. I'm at a loss...
