Hi I am a new 2005 rx-8 shinka owner.
I'v been searching for hours all over the net for a way to connect my phone or usb to my factory bose system. One of the big issues i keep finding is the loss of siruis and/or cd player. At this point I have given up on finding a blue tooth adapter due to all I can find replaces the sirius. I have found one solution that I cant seem to find any info here on if it really works or not. I'm thinking its a to good to be true and am hesitant to shell out the cash to try it.
What they are selling is a usb and a 3.5 mm jack adapter that connects to the tape/md on the underside of the radio. I have seen others with just the 3.5 mm jack but I really like the usb since they claim even the steering controls work and track number title time all show on the display. Works with v9.21 to 10.01 with or without bose sound

Its about 200USD so that's what makes me so hesitant.
