Update on the coolant leak!!!!!!!!!!
So I got my car to the dealer finally yesterday around 3:00 pm and when I pulled in I saw 4 red Rx-8's like mine which totally makes me feel so much better. How about NOT!!!! So I went and talked to the service guys and they said tops that it would cost me $125 to do the pressure test come Monday at 1:30 so I will keep you guys updated and tell you what the problem cause the massive leak was.

You shouldn't start a new thread to update another one.
People won't know what the original problem was.

You're not giving enough info.
Freeze plug? What the heck is a freeze plug? Plugs? The spark plugs are behind the front left wheel, on the left side of the engine block. My guess is you have a busted hose somewhere, and when it drips down, it takes a path that's close to the tranny and hits the floor. DO NOT try to start the car. You need to get that leak fixed. Find out where the leak exactly is. Pour water into the reservoir and watch the coolant hoses carefully. Check around the radiator. Check for coolant stains.
Let us know what happens.

Freezeplugs don't just fail, and if somehow there is a gap in one it would seep, not leak in volume.

Many people swear that's their only function.
I've heard that too, but it's why they're replaceable.
If they wanted to just seal a hole, why wouldn't they weld or bond a stouter plug to eliminate them leaking?

Update!!!!
Ok so I dropped my first transmission ever by my self with no help besides this forum and I figured out the problem it's the freeze plug, core plug or whatever it's called not trying to sound hateful on that note cause everyone calls it kinds of things I'm so glad I did not sell this thing cause some one could have had it and it's a $2 fix. I really love this forum there's so much I'm learning from here and I also started taking my medcine yesterday to help me concentrate so I can pay attention in college and let me tell you I was up till 5 am this morning pulling This thing lol but I really appreciate all the help and I'll update again when I get it going as I did not think I had to have a 56mm socket for the flywheel lol I had to order it from mazdatrix.

No not yet I had to order the 54mm socket from mazdatrix and I also had to order the plug from the dealer. It sucks that it's the holidays cause everything is going to be late and I really want to drive my car so flipping bad as I only got to drive it like 300 miles but on another hand I'm going to order some deep dish xxrs and an nrg quick release system along with a new exhaust hopefully as I need a new cat

Sorry to hear about the flooding.
I live north of K.C. on high ground.
I was keenly aware of trying to avoid flood plains when buying a new house.
I can relate, being from South Louisiana.
Hopefully everything works out.

Update!!!!
So I got my car all together and changed the thermostat and it runs good but I need to bleed the slave cylinder and also my temp gauge keeps moving up and down. My father in law and grandfather say it's because I completely drained the coolant and it has air pockets in it and it working them out.
