TPMS Light Stays on and won't reset
I recently had to have my TPMS sensors replaced because the valve stems were corroded and stripped out at the tip, so I took it into tires plus. They told me they put in sensors that they "got through Mazda" for $98 a piece, but they couldn't reset the light on the dashboard. I found the page in the manual that tells you how to reset it, and I've tried it 5 times already, at varying times (10 min, 15 min, 20 min) and I can't get it to reset. My tires are inflated to 35 on a colder day, so I know they're not flat. Any tips?

might have to be a bit stern but they will fix their work if they care about having more business.

When I used to work at a tire/brake/suspension shop we had a pretty expensive diagnostic machine designed specifically for resetting various TPMS sensors. A shop is supposed to reset them plain and simple. I would go back there and politely ask them to figure it out.

To register new tire pressure sensors to the vehicle, turn the ignition key to ON, then back to LOCK. With the engine OFF, wait 15 minutes or more, then drive for 10 minutes or more above 16mph.
This is the standard procedure for your sensors to "relearn". If the light is still on either it's reading low pressure somewhere or there's a fault. If the tires are at a verified 35psi there's a good chance the shop installed the wrong sensors or one of them is faulty.
Buy the right part from Mazda and have them switched out, then maybe get your money back from the shop?

Yeah definitely get your money back. I always go to the dealership for parts. They’re guaranteed to work in most cases and that’s worth paying for in my opinion. Less headaches. Sounds like a jankety shop. They don’t have the right equipment to be doing new Tpms.
