LA TPMS light wont go out

The flat tire light in my 08 is on solidly and the tires are at the correct pressure. Ive hecked the manual and the only thing it says will cause it to stay on and not flash is a low tire pressure. Ive has the sensors checked and changed, and reset the tpms but the light wont go off.

Did you ever solve this problem? My light has always been on although my tires are at 32 psi.

No. I think the tmps may need to be reset in the ecu. Ive also had the sensors checked and they are good on mine.

That's weird. I hope someone has the answer.
Do you know how the sensors were checked?

A slightly more painful route, but well worth it for the long-term benefit, is to program the custom PIDs for the TPMS sensors into an OBD2 program like Torque. Then you can see what the ECU is seeing as far as pressure (and temperature) for each sensor. Perhaps one or more has died? If so, then you could find the bad one by over-inflating each tire sequentially.

These are the PIDs, copied from another thread. They work. The warning light will activate if there is no sensor detected, or if the pressure is too low or high in one or more tires. I think the low threshold is around 26 psi and the high is around 48. Not 100% sure though.
