I have searched to see if there was ever any info on it. Has anyone ever tried paying for a third party warranty that covers the engine? Yeah I know the annoying telemarketer calls. I know a car dealer who sells some of these warranties. I checked with him and the company he uses does not cover any rotary engines. Are there any out there that do? Wouldn’t this be a great option if so? So far I have not found any which state one way or another online. I have not spoken to any of them on the phone as I want to see it in the contracts not verbal. Anyone ever have any luck with this?

 

Before I even bought my first car(a Honda Accord Coupe V6), my friend just told me not to buy any warranties because they are a waste of money.

You'd be lucky if they don't find something in the terms that don't screw you... If you have to find a dealer that does this, make sure it's a very reputable one, as some dealers do genuinely have good warranties, just not many.
