OK so I just replaced clutch in 04 and drained the fluild after. Now my question is do I have to refill on the housing or can I just pour it in where the shifter goes.( older cars used to not have a fill plug on the housing so you could only fill at the gearshifter). Oh this is a manual if you haven't guessed by now.

 

Fill it through the fill hole on the side. Keep adding fluid until it dribbles out the hole.

 

You can fill the RX-8 6 speed through the shifter hole as well...

The 5 speed...you can't

 

Perfect I was hoping that I could I didn't feel like rigging something up to fill it thru the refill hole. And I kind of thought I could but wanted to double check I had an old rx7 and you would have to fill it thru gear shifter.
