Steering wheel and ignition locked

Ok, so I did a little bit of research but I figured asking would be faster since I couldn't find anything and I need help asap with my only mode of transportation.

Car details: 05 , automatic (never drove a stick or I would have bought the shinka they had for around the same price), 90800 miles, remote start.

Here is the problem, this morning I started my car using the remote start to let it run for a bit before I got to it, no problems besides the air pump squealing, rode the car about 1.5 to get some food, parked went inside, came back out maybe 20 minutes later after using the remote start again. Car is running, got inside noticed the steering wheel turned almost sideways, but the key in the ignition but it would not move, tried to turn wheel and it would not move. Looked outside the wheels of the car were still straight from parking.

So, I have no idea how to fix this issue or what the cause of the issue is. Any help would be greatly appreciated, every time I fix something with this car something else pops up.

Turn your wheel all the way o the right and then all the way to the left

If that no work, you need to have the harness cable connection checked and go from there.

ha! funny, my rx8 does this. I thought it was a little issue but I guess it's supposed to do that. I thought it was weird I always had to turn the wheel just a bit to turn the key. Good to know that's normal
