Spark plug was stuck in RX8

Not really a question just a discussion. I have had my RX8 for a little more then a year now. I just recently replaced my ignition coils and leads and spark plugs. While trying to get out rotor 2 leading spark plug I ran into the issue of it not wanting to break and turn I struggled with it for 40mins before I was able to get it of. I figured maybe the last person to change it muscle cranked it on because the others were easy to get off despite the build up on them. After that replacement of everything else only took me 20mins. But just from looking at everything it's seems that my spark plugs were in there since factory build along with ignition coils and leads. And the car has 80k miles. It has me a bit concerned and thinking that I should look into other things like my transmission fluid CAT etc. I'm also excited because now I have a lot more power and fuel economy. But kinda surprised the engine has lasted this long with that crap that was in it.

I would for sure go through the car.

Mechanic tip, always SLIGHTLY tighten bolts, plugs Anything really before you try to loosen. It helps break things free.

Thanks I will try that next time. I check the throttle body looks brand new very clean. I ran into the problem though with the air hose joints on the throttle body vacuum hose. It just shatter and I barely applied pressure to put it on and those things are like $10-$13 each which is nuts consider in how fragile they are and how small a part it is..

They get brittle when they get old. Before I removed the stock intake I replaced them all then later replaced them with brass elbows.

It wasn't a stock part. I went to my local Napa and found them.
