looking at ss exhaust but saw a thread for the series 2 which had an HKS single exit which i like the look of along with apparent HP gains, are there any others that fit the series 1 apart from the HKS and RB?

 

Yes, there are more exhausts out there. I believe there is a thread dedicated to them. Have you tried searching the site with Google?

yes thats how i started but only thing that came up was the one i mentioned on the series 2 with a hks, but are there any differences between 1 and 2 series exhaust systems or are they the same? ie fitments and dimentions

There are some differences. There is a thread discussing the difference between the two series, and I believe it includes what doesn't fit between them.

Just because it is discussed in series 2 doesn't mean that it won't work for series 1. Gotta research that fitment too. Plenty of discussion to work with.
