Hi, I hope this is not a stupid question....but on Ebay I see a lot of LED llight bulb upgrades for "Sidelights" ....I know they are not the parkers so what the hell are Sidelights please someone ???????????????.....I'm thinking maybe the light under the side mirror maybe??????


I recently put the Xenon bulbs in my reversing & parking lights. An excellent upgrade especially if you have dark tint like I do which helps you see better reversing in the dark...

 

I expect you are looking at something regional specific. I don't see any "side light" listings on the US Ebay, and we don't have lights under the side mirrors. I expect they are referring to the turn markers. Perhaps you should compare the picture to what part on your 8 would fit that size and shape?

 

I'm guessing too that the side lights refer to the turn markers. Almost all of the bulbs are T10 wedge anyway. I swapped all the bulbs I could get my hands on for LEDs, only complain I have is that the mirror lights (those are called "puddle lights" in the US?) now shine mostly on the doors and not on the ground as they should. Probably have to swap them again for LED bulbs that have the LED pointing to the side of the bulb.
