Hey does anyone know if it’s possible to tune a series 1 rx8 to have a ghost port? So it braps when idling? Ik it’s possible with s2 but I can’t find anything about s1?

 

Internally the motors are the same.... so you should be able to do that which you seek 👽

There are many different ECU'S over the years, and the Series 2 ECU's are different. The tuning parameters will allow modifications of the same variables on both... just some flash tuners that work on Series 1 ECU's don't work on Series 2

MazdaEdit and Versatuner will work on both

 

sorry to deal you a hand full of truth, but brap only means one thing on a Renesis; fubar motor that makes less power

you have to get your head wrapped around that the Renesis is a very different configuration than the previous engines and despite whatever fake news various people are spreading, Renesis + brap = phail

Ik you make less power but atleast with a ghost port it’s not much less or any due to it just being a tune up on idle.

no, you simply have no idea what you’re talking about and what’s required to provide the hey-look-at-and-pay-attention-to-me sound mod you’re seeking on this particular engine

because there is no camshaft let alone electronically variable camshaft on an RX8 rotary engine, so porting it is the only option and you can’t just limit that to idle

you’ll be better served working towards being real and honest rather than putting energy into pretending to be something that is shallow and fake.
