Cool rx8 wont run

Hi All, Ran out of fuel in my RX8, filled her up, ran great until next day, now when starting when reving cuts out & will not run. Rac clipped it, showed cat & air pump fault, but not the air pump. could it be the fuel pump/filter that ive damaged?

You will need to be quite a bit more descriptive of "when reving cuts out". How it cuts out, where it cuts out, what it feels like, what "cut out" even means to you (since it may not mean the same thing to us), how does it stabilize or return, what conditions does it not happen, what conditions does it happen. Throttle position, rpm, etc...

when the engine is started it idles normaly, but when applying the Gas the car wants to cut out, the revs die when you put your foot on the Gas, like when your about to run out of fuel. if you take you foot off the Gas it will idle, but struggles

yeah, MIGHT be fuel pump damage.

But, always worthwhile to check the basics:
How old is your ignition? (coils, plugs, and wires)
Have you had a compression test recently?
Have you reset your ESS profile?
Cleaned the MAF and/or the ESS?
