2005 Mazda rx8 AT
Just to start things off, it's not flooded. I've done both deflood methods plenty of times.
So one I was driving along and my car stalled out and never fired back up, the volt regulator went out and boiled my battery ever so slightly but it didnt blow any fuses and the pcm checks out. it seems like it cranks just slow enough to not fire the car. So I replaced starter plugs coils cables pump battery. In an attempt to fix the problem. Compression checks out as well. But I've noticed when I went to do the dealer deflood my t plugs are the only ones wet, I believe it's my injector but before I tear it all apart I wanted to ask if anybody has had this problem before or knows a solution.

If the trailing plugs are wet and the leading are dry I suspect those plugs aren't firing. You said you replaced your whole ignition system (coils, plugs, wires)? Are you getting a flashing check engine light when you drive it?

No, but now that I've had this issue I do once I've cranked it enough to flood. Then back to the deflood and clean my plugs.

 

What were your compression numbers. This is either a problem with the plugs not firing or low compression. I highly doubt it's an injector issue.

 

1st: 7.0
2nd 7.2

I'm guessing my trails are not firing then? My spark tester lit up saying it's good? I'm not missing any burps when I take out the plugs and deflood. All my fuses are fine and my grounds. I've hit quite the wall here.

 

Does it start when pushed/pulled? If it starts and idles and drives fine then we narrowed it down to a starting issue.

 

Those aren't really useful you should have 3 numbers plus the cranking speed.

Rotor 1: 7.0, 7.2, 7.1 230 RPM
Rotor 2: 6.9, 7.2, 7.0 225 RPM

This is what compression numbers should look like as an example. Likely could be some blow-by going on causing that spark plug to get wet which is not a good situation to be in.

 

Also 7.0 what? Depending on the unit it could be borderline or failing.
