rx8 warning lights come on when at high rpms

hey all, i just bought a used 05 rx8, 68k miles, (I tried to post in the trouble shooting area but it wouldn't let me) when I got the car it had no issues, then it had starting issues, replaced battery, alternator, sparkplugs, coils, wires, and now it has a issue where when I rev up to 6500/7k rpms the power steering, abs, and traction control lights come on and i lose them as well until rpms drop under 6k, I checked the cat am and driving around without it on has the same issue, there's not nessicarly power loss, but I'm just not sure why those things turn off, also the ebrake light comes at with all the other lights as well, has anyone had these same issue or is it just me?

How's the alternator and the battery posts and clamps? Could be as simple as cleaning and snugging them the clamps.

Any permanent check engine codes?

the posts are good, the clamps are red and black painted marine clamps, which I know arnt right but it ran fine with them before, the clamps are tight and the terminals are clean

the engine codes I get are p2504 ff, b1318, and b1318 ff, although I’ve done battery and alternator tests on the car and they both said they were good, I did the test using my Bluetooth Obd2 scanner

I think your alternator voltage regulator might be bad. At high rpm the alternator is overproducing and the electronics freak out from seeing higher tgan expected voltage.

Hello DP12345. I have an 05 rx8 with the exact same issue. It cuts out at 7k rpms and about 5-6 dash warning lights come on until I put it in neutral.
Did you ever resolve your issue?

I have had the alternator rebuilt and replaced the battery. Neither fixed the problem. I had the alternator rebuilt because I noticed the battery boiling after one of these episodes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated from you or anyone.

I've been dealing with the same issue for about 1k miles since I rebuilt the motor myself last. Brand new battery, new but reman mazda oem alternator. Loss of eps at high rpm and a bunch of dash lights. Finally got the P2504 code so it's definitely not in my head now haha. I'm gonna start to diag it tmr, if your interested, reply to me so I see it in my email and I dont forget. I'm seriously suspecting the PCM but could always be a ground.
