rx8 side exhaust?

Has anyone ever seen or done side exhaust on the 8? i feel like it would look good coming out of the side skirts?

it would melt the **** out of the side skirts. rotary exhaust is very very hot

It would also probably be very, VERY loud as there is little room for a muffler in front of the differential.

if it were me doing i really wouldnt care or i would either extend the muffler and rought it to the sides

Try this: pop out your secondary o2 sensor and drive around for a day. It'll give you some idea of how loud it's going to be. Except it's going to be even louder.
