Replace glovebox damper with new bracket.

After searching the forums I have found a couple different threads explaining how to replace the damper, however I am looking for help on how to replace the piece plastic that is directly attached to the damper. From my understanding I need to remove a majority of the passenger dashboard? Could someone help or reference me to a tutorial?
