Hey ive pulled my trans to do a clutch and am wanting to get the noisy input shaft bearing done at the same time, it does have a fair bit of play.

Just wondering how would i go about getting it out, the bearing actualy feels loose but there is somthing stoping it from coming out, do i need to split the transmission?

Ive found this clip which appears to be stopping it. Ive never seen one like this before am i going to be needing a special tool?
