Good morning. I have purchased a 2010 RX-8 Sport with 6-speed manual trans. We make the trip to bring it home next Tuesday. I'm a life-long car guy but am especially interested in this purchase as I've never had a rotary engined vehicle before. Anyway, I've been doing much research and have learned a lot. My question is: Do any of you have breakdown of production for this model year that includes trim levels and transmission types? I've learned that there were 1,134 units sold in the US for this year. I think I learned that 263 of those were the R3 model. I'm curious, then, as to how many Sport models with stick shifts were sold in '10.

I think the guy who found out the number only found out by emailing Mazda. They don't normally leave these numbers floating around as there is really no point, so try and shoot Mazda an email if you really want to find out.
